Rio Grande School
Beyond Boundaries Capital Campaign
Shape Our Campus, Define Our Future
Rio Grande’s capital campaign is about bringing our campus up to the high level of the learning that already defines us — a place where imagination is encouraged, curiosity is celebrated, and every child is supported in discovering their best self. Beyond Boundaries carries forward our mission to inspire, challenge, and nurture every learner.
The first phase begins with the Co-Curricular Hub, the heart of this transformation. It will be a space where Visual Art, Science, and Performing Arts intersect naturally — a home for hands-on exploration, creativity, and collaborative thinking. It reflects who we are as a school: joyful, inquisitive, and deeply committed to meaningful learning.
Next comes a new 4th–6th grade building, designed for upper-elementary students who are ready for more independence and deeper inquiry, and then renovating the current 5th/6th building into the Early Childhood Center that supports our youngest learners.
The final phase expands the campus outward, shaping outdoor learning environments that include pathways, gathering spaces, native landscapes, and imaginative play and learning zones — inviting students to learn from, explore, and care for the natural world.
Thoughtful phasing ensures students stay in their current spaces throughout construction, keeping daily life steady and uninterrupted.
Supporting this campaign means helping build a campus that reflects the best of Rio Grande: creative, connected, and filled with possibility.
